Abstract

UPDATES FROM IGU General Directorate of Civil Aviation extended the duration of the authorization certificate given to the Flight Operations Management Program within the Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School. Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School, which is authorized by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation to provide training in the field of “Flight Operations Management”, will be able to continue its education without slowing down. IGMYO, which trains qualified aviation students for the sector, firstly fulfilled the requirements of the authorization certificate it received in 2018 and successfully passed the inspections carried out by DGCA in 2020. IGMYO makes a difference in the field of aviation with its experienced lecturers within the Flight Operations Management Program and academicians working actively in the sector. While the educational content of the program is based on the joint execution of theory and practice in the professional sense, it also gives students the ability to take initiative. Hidayet Yıldız, a lecturer in the Department of Banking and Insurance, has been accepted as an expert in the field of Financial Services. Hidayet Yıldız is included in the 2021 list with the registration number 34/29 within the scope of the Consumer Arbitration Committees Expertise Regulation.
