Abstract
The age of 65 and above approves the restriction! In the study conducted with 120 elderly people with an average age of 68,
the elderlies were asked what they think of the restriction ban applied. In
the research, it has been revealed that 60 percent of the elderlies approve
application of the isolation process to vulnerable groups and the elderlies.
Prof. Dr. İsmail Tufan, founder of Tazelenme University which is the Turkey’s
first and only university of the elderly and provide education without profit
making purpose and Gerontology Science, conducted a research with Lect.
Gerontologist F. Sıla Ayan from Istanbul Gelisim University School of Health
Sciences. According to the research conducted with the participation of 120
students of Tazelenme University with an average age of 68, 56 percent of the
elderly consider the curfew applied to them as a right decision. According to the research, only 27 percent believe that there will
