Lise Eğitim Yöneticilerinde Liderlik Özelliklerinin Çalışanların Motivasyonuna Etkisi: Esenyurt İlçesi Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, lise eğitim yöneticilerinin liderlik özelliklerinin çalışanların motivasyon düzeylerine etkisi araştırılmaktadır. Bu araştırma konusunu seçmemdeki en büyük etken, lise eğitim yöneticilerinin liderlik özelliklerinin düzeylerini tespit etmek; liselerde görev yapan eğitimcilerin algılarıyla okul eğitim yöneticilerinin liderlik özelliklerinin çalışanların motivasyonları üzerindeki etkisini belirlemek ve demografik değişkenlere göre (cinsiyet, medeni durum, yaş, eğitim durumu, hizmet yılı, çalıştığı kurum) lise eğitim yöneticilerinin liderlik özellikleriyle okul çalışanlarının motivasyonu arasında farklılaşma olup olmadığının incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak; Doç. Dr. Turgut Karaköse'nin geliştirmiş olduğu "Okul Müdürlerinin Davranışlarının Öğretmenlerin Motivasyonuna Etkisi" anketi kullanılmıştır. Ölçeklerden elde edilen veriler bilgisayar ortamında SPSS 25.0 istatistik programı yardımıyla analiz edilmiştir. Sonuca göre, katılımcıların çalışanların cinsiyet durumlarına göre eğitim yöneticilerinin liderlik özellikleri yönünde algı düzeyleri anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemektedir. Özel okullarda görev yapanların, eğitim yöneticilerinin liderlik özellikleri yönünden algı düzeyleri devlet okullarında görev yapanlardan daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Verilere göre lise eğitim yöneticilerinin liderlik düzeyi ile çalışanların motivasyonları arasında istatistiksel açıdan pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı bir ilişki vardır. Bu sonuca göre, lise eğitim yöneticilerinin liderlik davranış düzeyleri arttıkça okul çalışanlarının motivasyonları da artacaktır. In this study, the effects of leadership qualities of high school principals on the motivation levels of employees are being investigated. The main factor in choosing this research topic is to determine the levels of leadership characteristics of high school principals. It is aimed to determine the effect of the leadership qualities of the school administrators on the motivations of the employees and to investigate whether the impact of the leadership qualities of the high school administrators show a difference on the motivation of the school employees with respect to the demographic variables such as gender, marital status, age, education status, years of service, work institution. As a data collection tool Assoc. Dr. Turgut Karakose's "The Effect of School Principals' Behavior on Teachers Motivation" questionnaire was used. The data obtained from the scales was analyzed with the SPSS Statistics 25.0 program. According to the results, perceptions of participants' leadership qualities do not show any significant difference according to the gender status of the employees. Teachers in private schools were found to have higher perception levels for leadership compared to their counterparts in public schools. There is a statistically positive and significant relationship between the leadership level of high school principals and the motivations of employees according to the data. The results show that, as the leadership behavior levels of the high school education managers increase, the motivation of the school employees will also increase.
