Multi-Wave, Breather, and Interaction Solutions to Akbota Equation for The Heisenberg Ferromagnet-Type Model Arising in Nonlinear Physical Sciences

This paper investigates the integrable Akbota equation, a Heisenberg ferromagnet-type model. It is a basic tool for understanding curve and surface geometry. The interactions between atoms’ magnetic moments are described by Heisenberg ferromagnetism. This equation is investigated utilizing the logarithmic transformation, the multi-wave technique, the homoclinic breather approach, and the interactional solution using the double exp-functions strategy. A well-known idea in nonlinear research, the multi-wave approach clarifies that three waves interact under particular resonance circumstances. A breather wave is a localized oscillatory solution that preserves its form as time progresses. Additionally, we will analyze the dynamics of the newly derived solutions through graphical representations, assigning suitable values to the parameters. The offered methods are clear and precise, making it possible to extend the established form to additional nonlinear models. In contrast to prior investigations in the literature, our results are noteworthy. These results could be significant for further exploration of such frameworks to address nonlinear issues in applied sciences. Furthermore, the results enhance our understanding of fluid propagation and incompressible fluids. The solutions derived for the Akbota equation are novel and have not been recorded in previous research. Some of the solutions are shown using 3d, contour, density, and 2d representations created with the Maple software. The accuracy of all solutions has been confirmed.

Novel 1,3-oxathiole derivatives: Efficient one-pot synthesis, antitumor efficiency, X-ray crystallographic, Hirshfeld surface, and Fukui function analysis

An efficient one-pot access of two novel 1,3-oxathiole derivatives namely, ethyl (Z)-2-(4-acetyl-5-methyl-1,3- oxathiol-2-ylidene)-2-cyanoacetate; 7a and ethyl (Z)-2-(1-cyano-2-ethoxy-2-oxoethylidene)-5-methyl-1,3-oxathiole-4-carboxylate; 7b is described. The title compounds were prepared from the reaction of ethyl 2-cyanoacetate with carbon disulfide and 3-chloropentane-2,4‑dione or ethyl 2‑chloro-3-oxobutanoate in a K2CO3/DMF mixture. Their chemical structures were fully identified and characterized using spectral (IR, NMR, MS) and Xray single-crystal structure analysis. The molecules of 7a and 7b are connected in the 3D via C–H…O and π-π stacking interactions, respectively. Using Hirshfeld analysis, the H…H, O…H, and N…H contacts dominate the molecular packing of 7a 28.3, 25.0, and 15.9 %, respectively, while 38.8, 20.3 and 15.0 % for 7b, respectively. The local reactivity was determined using Fukui functions and dual descriptor indices. According to the Fukui function, the susceptibility to nucleophilic attack was mainly detected on C2, C5, C6, and O7 in 7a, and C2, C5, and O7 in 7b The in vitro cytotoxicity of the synthesized compounds was evaluated against cancer cell lines: MCF-7 (breast cancer), HepG2 (liver cancer), and HCT116 (colorectal cancer). Compound 7a is particularly effective against HepG2 cells with an IC50 value of 7.8 ± 0.7 μg/mL and impacts MCF-7 and HCT116 with IC50 values of 26.5 ± 1.8 and 26.3 ± 1.4 μg/mL, respectively. In contrast, compound 7b has moderate activity against HepG2 but limited effect on the other two lines.

Investigation of protein level, amino acid profile and cytotoxic effects of plantbased proteins and meat analogues

According to the Nova food classification system, plant proteins containing vegan analogues are classified into processed and ultra-processed. The recent sectoral developments highlight the importance of nutritional assessments of plant proteins and vegan analogues. This study investigated the protein level, essential (EAA)- and non-essential (non-EAA) amino acid profiles, and cytotoxic effects of plant-based proteins and meat analogues. Therefore, four meat products (burger meatball, pastırma, stuffed meatball, and sausage), soy and pea proteins, and four meat analogues were purchased from retail markets. All samples were subjected to the Kjeldahl test for protein content (%), LC-MS/MS test for EAAand non-EAA profiles, and MTS assay for their cytotoxic effects. The results showed that the protein contents of soy protein, pea protein, meat analogues, and animal-origin meat products were determined to be 60.9%, 81.8%, 18.5 ± 9.3%, and 18.1 ± 9.7%, respectively. The EAA to non-EAA ratio in the meat analogues and meat products was 29.2/70.8 and 27.9/72.1, respectively. Besides, the MTS test indicated that the cell viability of HCT-116 cells at 24th and 48th h in the sausage analogues was significantly reduced by 59.84 ± 1.84%. In contrast, in pastırma and beef stuffed meatball analogues at 48th h, it was significantly decreased by 57.34 ± 0.52% and 62.70 ± 0.79%, respectively (p<0.05). Overall, we concluded that the health effects of processed and ultra-processed plant-based proteins and meat analogues on human health need further investigation through bioavailability and molecular-based techniques.
